About the film
At seventy, undefeated wrestler Bhakhtaur Singh is haunted by a legacy his son refused to continue. When his grandson remains childless, Bhakhtaur demands a male heir. Instead, his daughter-in-law Kammo forms a girls' kabaddi team to restore the family's pride. Facing patriarchy, threats and ridicule, six village girls rise against all odds. Their biggest challenge comes against New Zealand's national team, forcing Bhakhtaur to confront his pride and embrace Kammo as his successor.
