About the film

Set during the 1947 Partition of India, the film shows a time when people faced fear, violence and the pain of leaving their homes. As communities were divided, some people chose to stand together and help one another. Through the lives of its characters, the film explores family, faith, identity and human relationships. It highlights how kindness and compassion can bring people together, even in the most difficult situations. Gursheed Mohamad Singh is a story about humanity, love and the message that people should always come before religion.
